Marija

Marija is an outstanding English teacher! Her lessons are always well-prepared and tailored to my specific needs. She’s patient, encouraging, and very attentive to my goals, whether it's improving my conversational skills or preparing for exams. Her explanations are clear, and she makes sure I understand before moving on. Marija also provides plenty of useful materials and exercises that help reinforce what we learn in each lesson. I’ve noticed a big improvement in my confidence and fluency since studying with her. Highly recommend her to anyone looking to improve their English!

I'm consistently impressed with Maria's punctuality and her ability to seamlessly transition between lessons despite her busy schedule. She not only recalls what we covered in our last session but also topics we discussed a month ago. I'm satisfied with the lesson, adapting perfectly to my preferences on what topics to cover. She takes special care to allow me to talk as much as possible and patiently answers all my questions, both on grammar and Serbian culture, which I find incredibly valuable.

Excellent first lesson with Marija, we had such a thorough discussion about my reasons for learning, goals and previous experience with the Serbian language. We spoke in Serbian for most of the class, and only English when I needed to. Marija had a fantastic balance of letting me speak and correcting me when I wanted her to, as well as providing an action plan for our future lessons and what we’ll focus on. The teacher I have been searching for! I can’t wait for our next class. Hvala Marija!

Another great Serbian lesson with Marija. since starting italki with Marija my Serbian speaking and comprehension level has improved drastically. She has done a wonderful job adapting to my learning style and providing me with the materials I need to learn the language. She is very thorough when explaining the complicated grammar, but still gives plenty of time during each lesson to speak. I would recommend taking classes with Marija for anyone who wants to learn Serbian.
