Nessma Hassan

Today, I had my first Arabic lesson with Nessma on italki, and I am thoroughly impressed. Nessma demonstrated outstanding teaching skills and a deep understanding of both the language and the learning process. Her approach to teaching is both engaging and effective. She tailored the lesson to suit my beginner level, ensuring that the pace was comfortable yet challenging enough to keep me motivated. Nessma’s explanations were clear and concise, making complex concepts easy to grasp. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking to learn Arabic.

I took about 10 Arabic lessons with Nessma before going on vacation to Egypt. Nessma is an amazing teacher! She is kind, knowledgeable, helpful, and really goes above and beyond for her students. Nessma is a brilliant, engaging, well-organised and supportive teacher. Her English is perfect, and her learning resources are super helpful. I look forward to continuing my learning with her.

Nessma was very understanding and answered all the questions I had on new verbs and their meanings. She gave solid examples and some sentences for me to review. She challenged me to make my own sentences using these verbs for next time too.

Nessma helped me to understand the "to have" verb in Arabic and how it can also be used as a proposition meaning "at". This was very helpful as I did not know this information and it was helpful to go over the differences between the Arabic words "in" and "at" as well. It was a nice review over verbs as well and the different forms they can take. I am focusing on memorizing as many verbs as I can before I can tackle all the different verbal and nominal forms. But every time I meet with Nessma I feel myself learning a lot.
