Hi there！ My name is Shiori. From Nara,Japan.
I lived in Australia for 2 years, after that I traveled around the world（over 40 countries）by bicycle and backpacker. Now, I'm living in Paraguay.
When I was traveling, I met a lot of people, and I realized that each country has its own respective culture.
Understanding other cultures and languages is really really interesting!!!
Also, when I was a Uni student, my major was Japanese culture and history.
so, especially if you have an interest in Japanese culture（Anime, Manga, history, travel etc,,,）
we can talk about it too!

I have a qualification as a Professional Japanese teacher.
And I was teaching Japanese as a volunteer teacher at an orphanage in Myanmar.
currently, I'm working full-time at Italki.

Shiori-sensei is a very kind, encouraging, and friendly teacher. She listens to you intently and compliments you when you do things well which is very encouraging. She only speaks English when necessary but will allow you to speak English if needed. She is also interested in you as a person and will ask lots of questions which is very nice. Lessons with her are fun and interesting! しおり先生、ありがとうございました！

So glad to start classes with Shiori San again. She is so patient, allows you to make mistakes, and lessons are always fun. It’s not easy to find a good teacher and I’m thankful I’ve found her.
