Hello everyone! I am pleased to say that I am a Certified Professional Teacher here in the United States. I hold a bachelor's degree in education, TEFL certified, along with 4+ years of experience to go along with that.
Besides working in schools and teaching kids, I also spend time learning various languages in my free time. I currently speak English, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Polish, and started learning Dutch.
Not to mention I have lived in 4 different countries while having taught in one of them. These countries are Poland, Portugal, Montenegro, and the Philippines. I am now back here in the US and plan to stay put unless I of course want to travel somewhere.

My major at the university was "Education", therefore I already have a good idea on how to properly structure lessons with my students if need be. I also have 120 hours of classroom practicum experience and 4+ years and counting, worth of teaching full-time under my belt, due to my major. My classes are extremely flexible in the material and I will be willing to do what it takes to meet your needs! My preferred style of teaching consists of getting to know the student in the first class. This is where I find out more about you, your interests, why you are learning the language, etc. We will also discuss student preferences for future classes. The classes will typically consist of conversation practice as that is what most students need from community tutors. Some days I may have the student read an article or newsletter to help improve the student's reading comprehension.Meu material de ensino

Jacob is so easygoing person and really talented teacher. I had conversation practice with him and it was like a talking with a good friend. He picks up really interesting topics for a lesson, gives you useful advices and has a patience to you mistakes.
Highly recommend to try a class with him)
