Being multi-lingual is one thing, however being able to teach beginner a language in a systematic manner is another. I have booked 20 classes with David right after the trial class with no hesitation. He is an articulate, inspiring and experienced teacher. Extra credit goes to David as he is good at utilizing AI, tools and resources to advance the learning process.

David is quite the professional instructor. He helped me prepare for a German translation exam, clearly and efficiently devising a learning plan and a systematic method for vocabulary acquisition. His experience as a language learner, teacher and translator is invaluable for anyone who wants to learn a foreign language, or perhaps especially, for someone like me trying to improve my German reading comprehension to the next level. Looking forward to studying with him further.

David’s lessons are extremely efficient in helping me to improve my weakness points and prepare me for my Goethe B2 exams. He is willing to share all the tricks and techniques in just one 30 minutes' lesson, and his advices right spot on the critical parts leading to the success of the exams. I would highly recommend his lessons to those who are looking for help with preparation for the exams in a short period of time. Also, he can explain German words in Chinese language really well, and also how Chinese native speakers can adjust the pronunciation. I find myself very lucky to find a teacher like him. Will come back to him when I am preparing my future C1 exam.

I had my first lesson with David to work on my pronunciation and it was spot on. To explain how to pronunce a vowel, David suggested different methods until he found the one that worked for me, and after just few tries I was able to find the correct sound of the long "O". He is also super encouraging, makes sure that you understand his explanations and points out mistakes in a constructive way. Everything looks very promising and I am looking forward to my second lesson!
