Hello, my name is Terry. I have a Mandarin Proficiency Certificate and a Teaching Certificate, so I can teach you authentic spoken Chinese. With my experience in learning English and Japanese, I understand the challenges language learners might face, such as pronunciation issues, confusing vocabulary meanings, and shaky grammar. I hope to help you overcome these problems in my classes. I am a positive and optimistic person. In my classes, you don’t need to be afraid of making mistakes. I will correct you and teach you the proper way to express yourself.

First lessons can be challenging, but Terry did a great job of assessing my level and providing me with helpful material right away. She sent me all of the notes and helpful new words from our lesson for me to use.
