Hello, everyone! This is JJ!
- I’m a native Korean speaking the standard language.
- I have a degree in Korean language and literature.
- I’m a certified Korean teacher. I have a teacher’s certificate from Ministry of Education of Korea.

I see many students feel embarrassed when they make mistakes. You might use broken grammar and vocabulary while learning, but that's very normal. Even though you make some mistakes, trying to saying what you want to express definitely helps to improve your Korean skills. As for me, I’m now learning Spanish and still trying to improve my English. So I totally understand how difficult learning a new language can be. JJ is a wonderful teacher! I have moved to twice a week in preparation for my trip and I can feel myself improving more, especially when I study all the materials she provides carefully- her lessons are always fun and she is always so patient and motivating!

JJ is an amazing teacher! I’ve been taking lessons with her for well over a year now. Her lessons are well structured and she does a great job making sure that I am always making progress from lesson to lesson, while always reiterating on things from previous lessons very naturally. Aside from excellent lesson content, she’s also just a very good natured person to practice chatting with comfortably in Korean, as she creates a great atmosphere where I’m not ashamed to make mistakes when conversing. Overall I highly recommend her as a teacher.
