I'm Amani Shamalka. I'm from Sri Lanka but currently living in Germany. I'm a native speaker of Sinhala language. I graduated from Wuhan University ,China. My major is "Teaching Chinese as a foreign language". So I can speak Mandarin as well. I really love to travel around the world , learn foreign languages ,meet new people and exchange thoughts with them. Currently I'm studying Japanese language and Korean language too. My hobbies are watching movies ,watching dramas , listening to music 。

As a student who majored in foreign language , I know exactly what kind of problems you will meet in studying a foreign language process .So I think I will be able to help you in terms of adapting to a new language. For those who are new to Sinhala language , we will focus on greetings , alphabet ,basic grammar and pronunciation. We also can practice basic dialogues.
For Intermediate level students we will focus on vocabulary and grammar which suit for intermediate level. We also can practice reading sentences , practice daily conversations. From this you can learn new words and expressions.
For advanced level students we will focus on reading news, write small essays, practice listening and speaking .
Also you can arrange classes according to your own requirements.

In the previous 100+ hours of lessons, Amani always provided me valuable feedback and corrected my errors during our conversation in Sinhala, she was patient, helpful, and well-prepared, I could not have made great progress in my proficiency in spoken Sinhala without her help. Now I am even trying to read written Sinhala, something I had never imagined one day I would manage to do. I highly recommend Amani to any serious learner of Sinhala!

This lesson was so helpful to learn some interesting grammatical features of Sinhala such as how to say a group of something. මිනිස්සුන්කට්ටයක් එක්ක හමුවෙන්න to meet with a group of people. I found this to be very useful grammar to learn. ස්තුති

Amani played a really fun game with my daughter to check her Sinhala knowledge. Kahoot is a site they use at school as well and she was very excited to play it and it made the assessment fun!
