Esau

I owe a huge part of my Spanish improvement to Esau’s lessons!! He provided extremely valuable conversation practice and was very easy to talk to. He also recommended me appropriate materials as my Spanish improved and gave me suggestions on how to modify my learning strategies. I have taken classes with him for over a year now and I have gone from woefully basic Spanish to passing the DELE B2 exam in that period of time! Thanks Esau for putting up with my very bad Spanish at the start, I’m extremely grateful for how much I have improved and how much (no exaggeration!!) my life has changed now that I can communicate much more fluently with important people in my life through the power of Spanish 😀

I really enjoyed our first lesson together. Esau seems like a very nice and patient person. I am still a beginner, so I make tons of mistakes and feel a little shy about speaking sometimes, but I felt comfortable speaking with him. He was very patient with me, despite my mistakes and wrote down the corrections for me, which I appreciate. He speaks with a very standard accent and very clearly. He also spoke at a pace that was perfect for my level. I think that I can definitely make a lot of improvements if I continue to learn with him, so I will book more lessons soon!

If you are looking for the friendliest professional, then I’d highly recommend Esau! 😊 I was very fortunate to have found such an experienced and patient teacher on a whim. He is so calm but always smiling and happy. With every class he feels less like my professor and more like my friend. He helps keep me motivated/confident and his calm mannerisms help me get rid of any stress I have when I’m trying to speak Spanish. 🙂 como siempre, muchas gracias por todo Esaú!

Esau is a wonderful teacher! He is very patient and kind and speaks at a level I can understand as a beginner. I enjoy our conversations and find him easy to talk to. He also does a great job of explaining any concepts I have difficulty comprehending. His homework is always relevant and helpful for the topics I am learning. I always look forward to our lessons!

My first lesson ever on iTalki was with Esau and it went well even though I was really nervous. For years I've been good at hearing Spanish and answering in English, Esau was encouraging and helped me find the words I need, and I hope to work on my speaking more.
