こうすけ(Kousuke)

Kousuke-san is professional and friendly. He always comes prepared in class with his materials, explains his lessons clearly, and listens intently. He presents a positive and lively mood and ensures it is comfortable to make mistakes. Thank you, Kousuke-san!

Kousuke-San is great. I learnt allot of vocabulary in a structured and safe environment. Then I get to test it out in sentences which is very helpful. I'm beginning to be able to hold short, very basic conversations after only 2 lessons. Highly recommended

I have now been studying with Kousuke-san for a little over a year. I’ve never given a review until now because I wanted to see how things would progress. I can honestly say that I am elated. Kousuke-san is extremely kind and has the patience of a saint. He is very encouraging and will let me prattle on and on about anything. I can ask him questions or for corrections at any time. Over the time spent learning with him, I have gained a lot more confidence in my speaking ability. I certainly don’t speak perfectly or even correctly at times, but I can get my point across and I am no longer afraid to try speaking with others. I am very happy with my progress and look forward to even more improvement with him. こうすけさんありがとうございました！

こうすけ先生はいつも丁寧で、やさしいせんせいですよ！ 文法のクラスでも、会話のクラスでも　とても上手な先生です。Italkiで　こうすけさんは　最もすばらしい先生の一人と思います。いつもありがとうございます！ Kousuke is a kind and talented teacher, probably one of the very best on Italki! He is friendly, polite, and very easy to talk to. He uses words and vocabulary to fit your level and challenge you just a little bit and always finds fun topics to talk about. You can also let him know if you want to talk about something in particular too! He is very open and accepting which is really important to me as a LGBTQ person. I have been taking lessons with him for around a year now and my Japanese has improved drastically, especially in being able to hold basic conversations and talk about things I may not yet have the specialized vocabulary for. Please, if you are considering booking with Kousuke, just do it! He is great!

Wonderful lesson where I could practice speaking in a very relaxed environment. Kousuke sensei’s way of speaking is also exceptionally easy to understand without sounding unnatural, which I really appreciate. Definitely recommend his lessons to everyone:)

I've spent 5 lessons with Kousuke so far. I initially booked these lessons to shape up my Japanese for an upcoming trip to Japan, which I now feel very prepared for! Kousuke has been a great conversational partner who always spoke at a level that I was comfortable with. He was always understanding and patient whenever I stumbled through sentences, and was happy to help whenever I was trying to remember or figure out certain vocabulary. I'll definitely be continuing practicing with Kousuke when I get back from Japan!
