Hello! My name is Yohan. I’m from Buenos Aires, Argentina 🇦🇷 Teaching while traveling is one of my passions. Languages have opened doors for me, allowing me to experience new cultures and meet amazing people all around the world. I also love learning languages and have recently been trying to learn French and Japanese. In my spare time, I also enjoy exercising, in particular swimming, polo, golf and water polo, and spending time with my Labrador dog. I look forward to hearing about your interests and discussing anything we may have in common!
Minha atuação como professor
I have been teaching English and Spanish, both online and in-person, for 7 years. I love teaching students from all over the world, so we can share about our experiences, cultures, and interests. I hold a 120-hour TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Education 📜 from the University of Palermo. I use a variety of materials, such as PowerPoints, readings, maps, audios, videos, etc. In this way, my students can develop the 4 modes of communication (listening, speaking, reading writing). I, like my students, I have learned foreign languages, so I know the difficulties that it entails. Thus, in each class, I try to create an interesting and captivating environment. While I provide feedback when appropriate, I generally try to conduct the class as though we are friends having a conversation. I had my first Spanish lesson with Yohan today and was thoroughly impressed. His energetic approach immediately put me at ease. Despite being our first session, he came fully prepared with structured lesson materials and thoughtful questions designed to identify my specific areas for improvement in Spanish fluency. What really stood out was how he concluded our time together by outlining a clear plan for our next meeting. His preparation and organization made me feel confident about continuing lessons with him.
