My name is Sonia. I am a native speaker of German and I have been working as a professional teacher of German as a foreign language for many years.
I am also a cognitive scientist, fascinated by the tricks to support the brain in learning a language. My specialties: Exam preparation, conversation and phonetics.
Mein Name ist Sonia. Deutsch ist meine Muttersprache und ich arbeite schon seit vielen Jahren als professionelle Deutschlehrerin. Ich interessiere mich für die Methoden, mit denen wir eine Sprache leichter lernen können. Meine Schwerpunkte: Prüfungsvorbereitung, Konversation und Aussprache.

Ich habe Phonetik, Linguistik und Psychologie studiert und meine Doktorarbeit über die Kognition von Sprache geschrieben. Mich fasziniert, mit welchen einfachen Tricks man das Gehirn darin unterstützen kann, eine Sprache zu lernen. Ich unterrichte seit vielen Jahren im Einzel- und Gruppenunterricht, in Präsenz und online. Ich habe auch die Qualifikation als telc-Prüferin.
I studied phonetics, linguistics and psychology and wrote my doctoral thesis on the cognition of language. I have been teaching German for many years to individuals and groups, face-to-face and online, privately and at the adult education center (VHS). In meinen Stunden trainieren wir praktische Alltagskonversation, strukturierte Grammatik und authentische Aussprache. Dafür nutze ich viele interessante Materialien und Methoden. Ich unterrichte alle Niveaus. Bitte beachtet auch meine Gruppenunterricht!
My classes include both, everyday conversation training and structured grammar exercises. I employ interesting professional teaching material and diverse teaching methods. I teach all levels, do individual pronounciation training, exam preparation, job application training... The aim is to enable you to speak fluently and to communicate with every German native speaker. Please note my group classes on pronounciation and conversation!Meu material de ensino

Vielen Dank für die großartige Lektion. Sonia ist eine Fachfrau in ihrem Bereich und eine energiegeladene sowie positive Lehrerin. Ich suchte nach einem Experten, der mir nicht nur bei der deutschen Grammatik, sondern auch bei der Aussprache helfen konnte. Es war nicht nur nützlich, die verschiedenen Interviewfragen im Unterricht zu besprechen, sondern auch alle Antworten später nachlesen zu können, da Sonja sie während des Unterrichts aufgeschrieben und mir zugeschickt hat.
