I am a native speaker of English, born and raised in New York. I hold a PhD in linguistics from Stony Brook University. I have a true passion for pronunciation and grammar, and have taught university courses on phonetics and syntax for over 10 years.Minha atuação como professor
I am comfortable teaching true beginners as well as highly advanced students, and am happy to tailor each lesson to your particular strengths and interests. I am working with Russell specifically on pronunciation. He is amazing! I highly recommend working with him. Our classes are very interactive. He clearly loves what he does and he transmits his passion for pronouncing correctly. He is also both thorough and very kind in his corrections, which helps me improve while at the same time, I feel comfortable mispronouncing words in front of him :)
