I am an expert in Latin American queer literature and culture. I am an official member of the Hyperpolyglot Association (HYPIA). My favourite singer is Fairuz, and my favourite poet is the Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish. I am passionate about Middle Eastern and South Asian languages, as well literature, linguistics, history, travelling, and more! The animal that describes me best is the parrot, since I am talkative and a great imitator! I take pride in welcoming the LGBTQ+ community and BIPOC communities, and I facilitate inclusion for refugees in the Montreal area. I have been teaching for over four years now, and I specialize in teaching French to immigrants. I have worked in the Chamber of Commerce of Montreal, in the "J'apprends le français" program, a program which allows small business owners and workers to learn French at their place of work.
