I also know that motivation is essential to learn a language, so I have my students choose their topics of interest and fix their goals. In this regard, I had the good fortune of taking part in a seminar held by Anthony Mollica creator of "Recreational Linguistics" a method to acquire linguistic and cultural skills through word games and lexical combinations.
