I have been teaching for 10 years, in high schools with teenagers and in language courses with adults. During these years I had the opportunity to make my teaching method better, following continuing education courses to be always up-to-date and acquire new skills and techniques.

Disclaimer: if you book a lesson and don't attend, you still occupy a slot of my time, so I will usually demand payment for the missed lesson. Teaching 11 languages, currently learning 3 more, 20+ years of experience as a teacher When teaching I take both my schedule and my classes seriously. When a class is scheduled, it is part of my weekly plan and I get ready for it. I conduct a detailed journal of what I have been doing with my student, I write down every session, thus it is easy for me to check what we did on our previous sessions. I used to teach more conventionally, meaning with my students being in the same room as me. In 2021 I started using Skype for my classes (I now conduct my lessons on Teams) and things work out very well. I am always punctual as I respect the time my students take for our lessons, likewise I do appreciate if my students do the same.

For me learning a foreign language is an amazing experience, not only for reaching fluency itself, but also because it let you immerge in the culture, getting out of your confort zone and expand your orizons. This is the main reason I teach Italian on Italki and I wanna share with you the Italian culture.
