While grammar and rules are one half of a language, the other half is culture, context, and real-life use. I'll bring you the language that is actually spoken in Italy, not just the one you learn on the books or on any language app.

Italian with Paola" I've been teaching on italki since November 2016 and over the years I developed a very flexible method, which allowed me to teach to students of any level and with different goals, preferences and needs. During our lessons, I'll always try to create a relaxed atmosphere so you can feel at ease and have fun while learning. I usually conduct my lessons in Italian as much as I can, so you get used to it, but I can also use English if you like.

I possess a TEFL certification as well as a BA in Italian language, literature, and culture. I've also worked for three Italian schools, being in charge of organizing and preparing lesson plans for groups and individual students in both private and company settings. In addition, tools such as songs, texts, articles, movies, TV series are very effective for beginning to approach a new language. It started as a great passion and then turned into a profession. I’m a teacher certified by the University for Foreigners of Siena (DITALS Certificate). I have taught in refugee centers to adults from different countries (English-speaking, French-speaking, Arabic-speaking) and with different levels of language. I have had experiences in schools for teenagers and in language workshops for children.
