I have experience teaching Italian to absolute beginner, intermediate, and advanced students (all adults). I'm flexible with the way I teach. I communicate with each student to understand what works for them and integrate their preferences with a proven methodology. I like using videos, movies, pictures, and music. I often create online apps for my students, and they all love them because these online exercises look like games. The more fun you have while learning, the better! Depending on your level and how comfortable you feel, I will use English or Japanese during our lessons. I also work as a professional copywriter and copyeditor, and this year I will publish my first novel! :)

Avendo insegnato a studenti da poco arrivati in Italia (bambini, ragazzi e adulti) e avendo io stessa imparato delle lingue straniere, ho sperimentato che è parlando, leggendo, scrivendo e anche giocando che si apprende più velocemente. So, però, che per parlare correttamente anche la grammatica e la sintassi sono molto importanti e, visto che in italiano sono molto complesse e ci sono moltissime regole, mi piace affrontarle partendo dalla conversazione, da letture e da video. Imparare dev'essere divertente e appassionante... altrimenti dopo un po' si perde la motivazione.

I know it might be "not so much attractive" to hear that someone is from Serbia or another Balkan country but the best thing about this is that I can teach you serbian, croatian, bosnian, montenegrian:-). I would say these languages are all the same with small regional differences and it is a kind of political issue that we all call it differently. I know that many people prefer native speakers, but it can sometimes be tricky. The native speakers are good teachers only if they are foreign langauge teachers, believe me. I also teach latin and italian so I think I could be a good choice for you:-)
