Даже такой сухой технический термин, как "лесной межевой столб" или "пикет", полон неуловимой прелести. Если вы знаете леса, то согласитесь с этим.

Невысокие межевые столбы стоят на пересечении узких просек. Около них всегда есть песчаный бугор, заросший подсохшей высокой травой и земляникой.

Этот бугор образовался из того песка, который выбрасывали из ямы, когда копали ее для столба. На стесанной верхушке столба выжжены цифры - номер "лесного квартала".

Почти всегда на этих столбах греются бабочки, сложив крылья, и озабоченно бегают муравьи.

Около этих столбов теплее, чем в лесу (или, может быть, так только кажется). Поэтому здесь всегда садишься отдохнуть, прислонившись к столбу спиной, слушая тихий гул вершин, глядя на небо. Оно хорошо видно над просеками. По нему медленно плывут облака с серебряными краями. Должно быть, можно просидеть так неделю и месяц и не увидеть ни одного человека.

В небе и облаках - тот же полуденный покой, что и в лесу, в склонившейся к подзолистой земле синей сухой чашечке колокольчика, и в вашем сердце.

Иногда через Год-два узнаешь старый знакомый столб. И каждый раз думаешь, сколько воды утекло, где ты за это время побывал, сколько пережил горя и радости, а этот столб стоит здесь и ночи и дни, и зиму и лето, будто дожидается тебя, как безропотный друг. Только больше появилось на нем желтых лишаев да повилика заплела его до самой макушки. Она цветет и горьковато, по-миндальному пахнет, разогревшись от лесной теплоты.

Quindi…. mi è capitato di leggere questo articolo sul New Yorker, che mi ha inviato questo mio studente. Per chi non lo sapesse, il New Yorker è una rivista settimanale, americana certamente, pienissima di articoli, come dire, IMPEGNATIVI. E quello che Paolo mi ha inviato era sul ”caso contro il turismo”. E l’ho trovato molto colto, anzi di più: estremamente raffinato. Anzitutto per come era scritto, con parole e citazioni di alto livello – e già sono un pezzo avanti, perché vuol dire che posso riconoscere delle buone parole.
Per questo quindi io direi che il pezzo del New Yorker sul turismo, sul viaggio, sul viaggiare, eccetera, l’ho trovato un po’ provocatorio. Potremmo dire che è un invito a farci desistere dal partire; è quasi un invito a farci sentire stupidi, negletti e non so cos’altro, solo perché partire è diventato un affare comune; cioè come se in realtà la cosa più snob che possiamo fare sia non partire, cioè snobbare tutto il resto del mondo, perché non ci renderà migliore.
Alcuni giovani, e meno giovani, italiani decidono spesso di non usare più un paio di scarpe o una borsa, oppure decidono di non vedere più i film in inglese, SOLO PERCHE’ ORMAI TUTTI indossano quelle scarpe, TUTTI possono vedere un film in inglese. Non è più un’esclusiva!
Ma come sapete, un po’ da antropologa – la quale avrei ardentemente voluto essere e non sono, ma che aspiro ancora a diventare - e un po’ come insegnante nel mondo, sono molto curiosa (e tutti sappiamo che essere curiosi è sinonimo di intelligenza…. E vai!), mi piace scoprire non so bene cosa, mi piace vedere forse un nuovo panorama.
E il fatto che ora sempre più persone possano avere questa curiosità, è una cosa buona (imho).
E il fatto che molti possano immaginare soltanto di poter arrivare qui, o lì, secondo me è magnifico.

One of the common goals for people in their 20s, 30s and 40s is to "get on the property ladder."

The idea is that when you buy your first home you're taking your first step on that ladder. In time, you may be able to climb higher by selling your property and buying a bigger or better one.

But taking that first step can be difficult — and scary. So what do you need to know before you go from renting or living with family to becoming a homeowner?

Writing for CNBC, real estate reporter Celia Fernandez shared a number of things she wished she'd done before buying her first home.

One thing she mentioned was making sure she had all the necessary paperwork in one place so she could easily show it to banks or lenders. This is good advice for anyone buying a property — you'll probably need to share things like your payslips, bank records and tax returns several times!

Fernandez also advises people to look for "free money." Your country or region may have grants or other programs to help home buyers. Look out for things like tax breaks for first-time home buyers, or grants for refurbishing older homes.

She also suggests asking for financial help from family members. "My biggest regret is not talking to our loved ones right at the beginning of our search," she said.

Of course, not everyone will have this option. But some parents may want to give money to their children during their lives rather than waiting to pass it on as an inheritance, for example.

Finally, Fernandez says it's important to take into account the costs of closing a sale. That might include taxes, legal fees, inspection fees or fees for a real estate agent — and don't forget that you may also have initial refurbishment costs.

You don't want an expensive surprise just as you get your first home!

Además de la colorida decoración en luces y adornos de papel maché con figuras y acabados referentes a las fiestas patrias (preferentemente en verde, blanco y rojo) también están los afiches con imágenes o dibujos de los personajes de la Independencia de México y no faltan quienes se personifican como los héroes de la nación. 

Además, es durante las fiestas del 15 de septiembre que la comida mexicana se luce por completo, pues deliciosos platillos tradicionales como el pozole se unen con las bebidas espirituosas de México, como el tequila, el pulque y el mezcal.

Durante el siglo XIX se dieron muchas modificaciones en los festejos del 15 de septiembre, con una marcada diferencia entre las celebraciones civiles y las oficiales; pues estas últimas (de carácter militar o religioso) se llevaban a cabo el 16.

Durante la noche del 15 de septiembre a las 23 horas, el presidente de México, emulando al cura Miguel Hidalgo, sale al balcón del Palacio Nacional y da el grito de Independencia. El público, así como el pueblo de Dolores que escuchó al padre de la nación, corea los vítores del mandatario en turno; como muestra de orgullo y patriotismo.

Cada estado/comunidad da su grito de Independencia y suceden al mismo tiempo. No hay un protocolo establecido en cuanto al discurso, pues cada ejecutivo puede modificarlo. Por lo general, la conmemoración del 15 de septiembre se aprovecha para transmitir las intenciones del gobierno en turno al pueblo de México.
