Hello Brey! I will be glad to help you out with that. When we use "por" in spanish we are talking about the motive or the cause of something. For exemple "Estoy feliz por tus logros" meaning "I am happy for your achivements". And when we use "para" we mean the intention of something, for exemple "Trabajo para ganar dinero para poder viajar" meaning "I work for earning money for traveling" or " Esto es para tí" meaning "this is for you". I know it can be confusing as in English there is just one word for that "for" but with practice you could totally master it. I am a new native spanish speaking comunity tutor by the way so if You'd like to take a lesson with me I will be more than glad to help you to speak the best spanish in your neighborhood. I hope this was helpfull, have a good night :)

This is one of the big challenges of Spanish at first, (along with "ser" and "estar" / "saber" and "conocer")
