Hi everyone! Could somebody describe me the difference between "I am sure" and "I sure am" ? What situations I can use each phrase in?

"I am sure" means I have no doubt. Examples: I am sure that she is very hungry. I am sure that you are doing the right thing. Grammatically, "I surely am" is more correct than "I sure am" and it means I most certainly am Examples: Are you going to attend Ana's party? I surely am. Are you Richard Branson? I surely am.

I’d use ‘I sure am’ as an answer to a question. Are you looking forward to the football match on Saturday? I sure am! So it’s another way of say yes, of course, yes indeed, I certainly am etc Whereas I am sure is used more in a stand-alone sentence. I am sure that Alexandr will appreciate this reply!

'I am sure' (or I'm sure) means that you're certain about something. Here are some examples: I'm sure I put my keys on the table but they're not there now. I'm sure you'll pass your exam without any problems! It's raining now but I'm sure the sun will come out later. I'm sure I was right. In all of these examples, 'I'm sure' means that I'm certain. 'I sure am' is usually a response to a question from someone and confirms something about yourself. It can also be used to emphasise a feeling or thought that you have. Here are some examples: 'Are you enjoying learning English?' 'I sure am!' This response means 'yes, I'm really enjoying it'. 'You must be pleased you passed your exams!' 'I sure am!'. This response means yes, you're very pleased! Or you could use it in the following way: 'I sure am happy you came to see me'. This means 'I'm really happy you came to see me'. 'I sure am glad I bought that book'. This means I'm really glad I bought that book. 'I sure am' is used more in American English than in British English. I hope that helps :-)

" I am sure" would be used when you are certain of something: "I am sure it is raining in London today" whereas "I sure am" is when you are wanting to emphasise how you feel "I sure am hungry right now" Have a great day ahead.
