Photography related vocabulary
Aperture - Refers to the opening in a camera lens through which light passes to enter the camera.
Shutter - Refers to the mechanism in a camera that controls the amount of time that light is allowed to enter the camera.
Exposure - Refers to the amount of light that is allowed to enter the camera.
Relevant Idioms:
Picture-perfect - This idiom is used to describe something that is so beautiful or ideal that it looks like a perfect picture.
Example: The view from the top of the mountain was picture-perfect.
In the frame - This idiom means to be included in a photograph or to be part of a situation or activity.
Example: I want to make sure everyone is in the frame for this family photo.
Snapshot of something - This idiom refers to a brief or quick impression of something, like a snapshot taken with a camera.
Example: The tour guide gave us a snapshot of the city's history during our short visit.
