Personally, I provide students with feedback during our lessons, as well as afterwards by private message. To me, there is little point in leaving a review or feedback (or whatever) on a student’s profile. That said, when new students request a lesson with me, if they have good reviews, I’ll be quick to accept. If they have bad reviews or if they’ve chosen to hide their reviews, I’ll be looking for other indications that they’re serious students and pleasant to work with.
Note: In a previous version of the site, both reviews (student of teacher and teacher of student) showed up together on the teachers' profiles. In my opinion as a student, it was useful to read what the teachers said about their students — as a way of evaluating the teachers....
