the most sweet and beautiful opera in china----Yue opera Shaoxing opera (or <em>Yueju</em> - simplified Chinese: 越剧; traditional Chinese: 越劇; pinyin: Yuèjù , Yue opera) is a relatively new local Chinese opera popular in the southern regions of the Yangtze River。
Yue opera is noted for its lyricism, and singing is dominant in it. Its tunes are sweet and beautiful and the performance vivid and full of local color. Originally Yue opera was only performed by males and then changed to all female performances.

Ha, exactly Skylt. Beijing Opera is strong and powerful! I like how they pronounce things. Especially the character with the white face and long beard. I really need to read into all this stuff though...it's hard to find them with explanation and subtitles. (Hehe, I honestly can't follow a word of what the concubine is screaming in such a high voice. <img src="/FCKeditor/editor/images/smiley/msn/tounge_smile.gif" alt="" /> I only catch "霸王" but that's easy because that's how she addresses him.)
