I think Spanish is so underrated. People from other countries think we're always doing siesta, dancing flamenco and everything bad related to us. We're hard-working, and every stereotype about spaniards is false! You only can believe what you see, but what you are told.

Where I'm from, most people think the term "Hispanic" refers to Mexicans only. There aren't many other types of Hispanics in my area

All cultures have a Stereotype that rapresents them.

It probably depends on the images that history have brought to us. Italians exported mafia and pizza in all the world but in Italy we do not eat only pizza or spaghetti and most of us are not mafious.

So for Spanish people, you are famous for bullfight, flamenco and siesta.

I think that occidental people looks similar each other, television and media have a part in the completion of our life style.

Indeed you works as we do, you have fun in the same way we have, you feel the same feelings.

Holaaaa, aquì (Italia! :D) creemos que los espanoles son "calientes", llenos de pasiòn, alegrìa... :3 Pero hay un estereotipo para mi HORRIBLE sobre la lengua espanola (la estudio, a pesar de los acentos equivocados debidos al teclado italiano ecc. xD). Como se parece un poco al italiano, algunos italianos un poco ignorantes piensan que es facil aprenderla y para imitarla anaden una "S" al final de las palabras o_o xD Este idioma "suena" lleno de "S" :) Y vosotros qué pensàis de los italianos? <3

Yeah you are right Reyes but, don't you think Spaniards promoto this lazy image to the external world? I mean, everywhere we go we see souvenirs shop where they are t-shirt with the expressions "I love siesta" or "viva el toreo" or "hoy no me levanto de la cama"...?
