I dont believe in love at first sight, because i think true love takes time ,it takes time for people to understand each other and i think "love at first sight "is because of each others' appearance .
thank you for viewing and please share ur opinions and reasons .:)
Lust at first sight - yes.
Love at first sight - no.
Abby:
If one is a loving person, they are predisposed to the experience of love.
Can it be true that someone can see you (at first sight) and love you?
Or can it be concluded that you can love another at first sight?
What one denies concerning any subject, even the subject of love, can establish a specific limitation.
When one declares a lack of belief in something, whether a material thing or an abstract conception,
it blocks and prohibits that thing from ever appearing. Such is the power of the mind.
Of course, one can define "love" in such a narrow way and an idealistic way that the conception of love bears no resemblance to reality at all. Love in all of its forms can appear to one who is "loving".
The more one identifies with love, the greater the opportunity for one to experience love in all of its forms.
I believe in love at first sight.
I do not agree however that love at first sight is the same thing as attraction based upon appearance.
Appearance can be strking, and can involve desire and sensuality, but that is not "love".
Love at first sight is profound.
abby, consider a girl living away from see and rivers, who says:
"I don't believe in birds eating fish.
It's impossible to see a fish in a water, and anyway, birds can't dive. Their fathers, they'll get wet, and the wings cant help in swimming. And then... fish, it is used to water, it's so agile and fast - have you ever tried to catch one with a bare hand??? "
Lets compare it with reality:
1. she was never able to see fish in water herself. Probably because she got used to muddy water and anyway, she never looked into the water <em>from above</em> with birds eyes.
2. "<em>birds can't dive</em>" - ha, birds can dive. THough it sounds weird for those who never saw a duck.
3. feathers don't get wet. They are <em>adapted</em> to water exactly in order not to wet.
4. Wings aren't used for swimming by most of sea-birds. They have other means:)
Ok. But if we didn't knew, that some birds do it - is there any way to find mistakes in girls reasoning?
I agree with you. Love at first sight is about the 'chenistry', atraction but is definitly not love. At least mature love:)
