Walkie-talkie app for language learning practice. Why not?

Despite the fact Skype is really useful for language learning as well as the most used software by language learners, I'd say, I found out an app called Zello (therefore, for mobile devices), and possibly many of you already know it. I use this to keep in touch with my relatives, but suddenly I thought it could be useful for practicing the language as well. Of course Skype keeps being the number one when it comes to taking lessons since it is a complete software, where you can type, see and hear, but Zello seemed nice as well: your audio isn't on all the time while you're having a conversation, it has a good sound/voice quality and there's voice history, which means you can replay the person's last audio if you don't understand it the first time you hear.

Cheers!

toc toc toc, I am glad you liked it and yes, you're right when you say we don't have to plan the practice time and that messages are recorded, which is great since language learners can listen to the conversation whenever they want as well as replay the audio instantly. You're doing great!

I really like this application.
we can talk whenever we want ! We don't have to plan. We can send messages even if we are not connected. The disscussions are recorded so you can listen to.
The sound quality is good. It is possible to create a channel
It's the first time I had a real live speaking partner.
It was really nice.
I'm sure this app would be useful for italki users.
Lets share by MP our zello logins !
