ApologY for MY absence
Dear Mr. Brown,
I am writing in connection with OUR meeting, which WAS scheduled for July 10, 2015. Please accept my sincere apologies for my failure to attend this meeting. If there WAS any inconvenience that my absence may have caused you and your team, please forgive me. I trust you will understand my reasons.
The problem consists in the fact that the project I am supervising has been suspended by our company owing to A breach of THE contract’s conditions. To make matters worse, I HAD to go ON A business trip in order to CORRECT this problem.
Would it be possible for me to arrange a new meeting in THE not too distant future? If it is convenient, President Hotel at 7 p.m. on July 20, 2015 is a favourable choice for me. If it does not suit your schedule, please notify ME so that we can make alternative arrangements.
Once again, I regret any inconvenience THAT I MAY HAVE CAUSED YOU, and hope this will not affect our relationship. Thanking you in advance for your understanding, I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours sincerely,
Yana X
