Significant and noticeable are similar in that they both refer to something that is worthy of attention or consideration, but they have slightly different connotations. Something that is significant is important or meaningful, often in a way that has a big impact or influence. For example, a significant event might be one that changes the course of history or has a major effect on someone's life. A significant difference or change is one that is substantial or meaningful, rather than small or insignificant. Something that is noticeable, on the other hand, is simply something that is easy to see or perceive, or that stands out in some way. Something might be noticeable because it is particularly large, bright, or noticeable in some other way. A noticeable change or difference is one that is easily perceived, but it may not necessarily be as important or meaningful as a significant change. Here are a few examples to illustrate the difference: The difference between the two candidates' policies was significant, as it would have a major impact on the country's economy. The change in the weather was noticeable, as it was much colder and cloudier than the previous day. The impact of the new law on small businesses was significant, as it would change the way they operate in a major way. The increase in traffic on the road was noticeable, as there were many more cars on the road than

Noticeable would be lower than significant. In the first example if you were to say "I think we can save a significant amount of time" it would mean you would save MORE time than if you were to say "I think we can save a noticeable amount of time" I would think of it as a sliding scale No difference > a little difference > noticeable difference > great difference > significant difference > massive difference, etc. The further you go on the scale, the bigger the difference is between two objects. If you were to use a language example you could say There is a noticeable difference between Mandarin and Cantonese (Because they are dialects of Chinese, and while they're not the same there are similarities between the two.. But you can also tell when you're hearing Mandarin and Cantonese if you listen closely), but there is a significant difference between Mandarin and English (Because the two languages structure and sound VERY different to each other)
