I had a date with autumn 我和秋天的一场约会 I walked into Song Ping Gou（松坪沟） located in maoxian, in western Sichuan yesterday. It took about 4 hours for a single bus journey from Chengdu city. It's a 4A class landscape and is called "Little Jiu Zhai"（小九寨). I took part in a hiking group (or: I joined a hiking group) there. There were more than one thousand two hundred people who had joined this time. I thought why have so many people joined? In the day time, I joined other hiking groups of just 15~80 people (as you give an estimated range, you don't need to say 'about' here). I guessed maybe the great price, special hiking trails, the beautiful scenery, and more than 12 starting points to choose from attracted everyone. The hiking group price was 89RMB, including return transportation and tickets, or 70 RMB tickets which were sponsored by other companies. So (the) tickets were free for us. Because of the limited time, going hiking and taking some pictures on the way to the highest point needs 4~5 hours, so we rode scenic cars to the highest point (or peak), then walked back down. 很多次成都下雨，川西是晴天。 由于时间有限，单边徒步和沿途拍照需要4~5小时，所以我们选择乘坐景区观光车上行至最高点，徒步下行。 The water was blue, the forests were colourful. The colors (color - US English, colour - UK English!) of the leaves were green, orange, yellow, and red. It was amazing. It was the best time of year to appreciate this landscape. 金秋十月，层林尽染，正式观赏的好时节。
