Is the sentence correct? We say: His face was red with rage. Is it correct to use 'pale' instead of 'red' to talk about anger? He became pale with rage. Thank you!

Yes, you could say either "red" or "pale," because different people react in different ways when they are angry. Some get lots of blood in their face, others become pale because the blood flows away from their faces. People also often get pale when they are frightened.

His face went pale with fear. It doesn't go pale with rage.

Red is more often used to describe an angry face, while pale is more often used to describe a frightened or sick face. However, there are times where you can use pale to describe anger. It is less common, but you can still use it.

No, we use pale for sickness or fear, never for anger.
