(We have the formal and the formal ways to say, I'll write in the formal one. If you need the informal one, please let me know.) 5. Are you hungry? --> Onaka ga suite imasu ka? / Onaka ga suki mashita ka? 6. Do you want something to drink? --> Nanika nomitai desu ka? 8. How far is that? --> (distance) Dono kurai no kyori ga arimasu ka? --> (time to get the place) Dono kurai no jikan ga kakari masu ka? 9. Did you work today? --> Kyou wa shigoto wo shimashita ka? 11. Do you need anything? --> Nani ka hitsuyou desu ka? 12. It's beautiful today isn't it? --> Kyou ha ii otenki desu ne. 14. I'll get it. (when the phone or door bell rings) --> Watashi ga demasu. (you'll understand something) --> Wakaru to omoi masu. 16. Where are you from? (which contry are you from) --> Doko kara kimashi ta ka? (which country / state / city were you born in) --> Doko no shusshin desu ka? 24. Do you want to do something? --> Nani ka shitai desu ka? 26.
