Adding a little bit more to Sakura-chan's answer: there are more possibilities of using this sentence depending on the context or situation, right? For example, if you get the chance to meet somebody (usually for the first time) and you want to express that you are very happy about this meeting, then you can say: Anata ni deaete yokatta (あなたに出会えて嬉しいです). This basically means "I'm happy to have met you". This sentence is "formal" so I hope you will get more answers about both "formal" and "informal" sentences. I hope that my answer was helpful too! I think this sentence has variuous translations depending on the situation. As BINGO-san said, if someone introduces you to other one, it means "Hajimemashite. Douzo yoroshiku" and if this situations is formal, adding "onegai shimasu" is needed. If you meet someone to whom you've alredy know, it means "aete ureshii/ aete yokatta" and addind "desu" makes it formal. Also Rjcorraya-san's translation is exist and he explained very well. I hope this helps you. Chao.
