Arash Afsary
I have a question regarding the translation of a Japanese proverb. I was web surfing some time ago when I came across the English translation of a Japanese proverb reading as follows: "No road is too long in the company of a friend." My question is does this proverb really exist in the Japanese language? if it does, how is it written in Kanji and what is each word's exact meaning in English? Also, can this sentence be translated into Japanese word for word? What would this translation be word by word? Thank You,

I looked up the proverb up on the internet. It is translated in Japanese as 良き友と一緒なら如何なる道のりも遠くはない。→旅は道づれ世は情け。 Yoki tomato issyonara ikanaru michinorimo toukuwa nai. Tabiwa michidure yowa nasake.
