I simply don't get the use of the word "considered". In New Zealand , Australia, UK, lemonade IS a carbonated beverage. It is carbonated and sort-of lemony, vanilla and sweet. In America, they seem to call water with lemon in it "lemonade". This is a completely different drink, which shares the same name in the different region. . So clearly an Ozzie will tell you Yes, of course, lemonade is a carbonated beverage. Carbonated beverages are bubbly, like sparkling water. (there is no "soda" there. It's an American word. Soda water is carbonated water)) While an American would presumably say (Oh look, Sarah said it).

Not in the United States. "Lemonade" is never carbonated. "Lemondate" means either fresh lemonade, or a good imitation of fresh lemonade. Fresh lemonade is made from freshly squeezed lemon juice, sugar, and plain water. You usually expect lemonade to have some traces of lemon pulp in it. Carbonated, lemon-flavored drinks in bottles are "lemon soda." By far the most popular brand is 7-Up, and people often refer to it by brand name.
