The advantages and disadvantages of a new factory near your community.
I remember that I used to live in the country as a child. There were many smart, hard-working hard farmers in my hometown. From February to March, they had to go to work early each day and come back late at night. Although, they worked hard every day, the salary was very limited. Sometimes, the weather was good; sometime there was a drought.
Later, after consulting with the local
government, some adults who been to the big cities found a new business opportunity and decided to build a factory to help the locals to increase their salary.
At first, the older ones doubted whether the business will be success; they hoped that their children wouldn’t go and work in the factory. But the members of government patiently answered all questions from every resident and told everyone that the plan would benefit them.
Slowly, more and more people believed the factory would be successful. As the locals’ salaries increased, many recreational facilities were built around my hometown. Due to being able to take part in many activities, people’s lives become more and more interesting.
However, there were also some disadvantages. The factory meant the local inhabitants increased, but it also bring some potential problems. For example, the local environment was harmed, more and more immigrants came to the little town and the living conditions become crowed.
It made me feel sad that the people are as kind and honest as ever. Overall, the economy of my hometown was terrible in the past. So I think creating a factory brought more benefits to the inhabitants than harm.
