Hello! I'm Teis, a passionate Danish language enthusiast and community teacher on italki. Born and raised in Denmark, I have a deep-rooted love for my native language and culture. I've been involved in various language exchange programs for years and I'm fluent in English, which ensures seamless communication during our lessons.
While I may not be a professional teacher by training, I am a firm believer in the power of immersive, conversational, and engaging teaching methods. Today was my first class with Teis. I was pleasantly surprised at how well structured the class went. Starting from having no knowledge in Danish, I'm happy that Teis is so patient with letting me figure out the pronunciations of words. I'll definitely come back for more! 🌻
