KEITA☆

My lesson with Keita Sensei was enjoyable as usual. He encourages me to stretch beyond my current level to experiment with new vocabulary and expressions while diligently ensuring I understand the grammar we are focusing on.

Keita san is a great teacher. I've just completed a 10-lesson package and am booking another. I came in with minimal Japanese (Hiragana and a few words) and he met me where I was at. Our sessions involve going through Genki, some Japanese conversation, and reviewing homework, which he helpfully grades outside of class. Keita san provides materials if you don't have them, and maintains a Google doc of feedback and key lesson points. The structure and flexibility provided are great, and I feel like I'm making progress towards learning this language. I highly recommend him and look forward to continuing to learn from him.

K San, is an excellent teacher. Our first class went very well and I love the structured approach to his teaching. We started with a knowledge review to see where we should begin. I was provided with plenty of material to get started and additional source information. I look forward to continuing or courses!

Keita senseis encouragement and diligence have helped me gain the skills and confidence I need to converse in Japanese at a basic level. I enjoy the combination of experimentation through free conversation and structured language practice.

I very much enjoy the first part of the lesson in which, with Keita sensei’s encouragement, we discuss different topics - and I get to experiment with new structures and vocabulary. Then, we focus on Genki, where, with Keita sensei’s careful guidance, I build up my grammatical competence.
