Hi!
My name is Carlos, I'm 31 years old and I'm from Coimbra.
I graduated in Management in the University of Coimbra. I'm currently working as a salesman, selling telecommunication's products.
I did volunteering work in hostels in London and Malaga. I did it because I love meeting people from other countries with different cultures. So volunteering in hostels was a great way to experience that.
In my free time I like reading, watching movies and series, stand-up comedy, cooking, eating what I cooked (that's the best part!), doing yoga, exercising, trekking in the mountains, swimming, spending time with friends and family. All simple things but that give me a lot of joy.Показать перевод

As a teacher I always try to make the process of learning fun and enjoyable to the students.
I customize the lessons depending on what are the goals that the students want to achieve. Because in the end, their goals become my goals.Мои уроки и стиль преподавания
I use methods that allows students to learn the language as natives do, using videos, audios and writing-form materials.
That way they learn the language as a whole and don't focus too much on specific parts like grammar or vocabulary. Unless that's their target goal, meaning improving grammar by instance. In that case, and in any other one, the lessons and exercises will be customized to achieve that specific goal.Мой учебный материал

Just completed my second lesson. Once again, Carlos has been patient while I struggle. Nothing feels rushed, and he makes sure you understand everything before moving on. Highly recommended! I will continue to book more lessons.

Just completed my first lesson with Carlos as a complete beginner, and first lesson ever on italki. Carlos made the environment comfortable and was very encouraging and patient throughout the entire time as I was struggling. Highly recommended for anyone looking to start learning Portuguese. I was very satisfied and will definitely be booking more lessons!
