Priya Anandhan

I'm starting from essentially no Tamil knowledge, and Priya came prepared with a well-structured lesson plan that's helping me pick things up quickly! I feel like my understanding has already progressed more than it ever did when I tried learning on my own.

I'm a few classes in and I love the way the classes are structured. Theres a bit of structured learning and also conversation towards the end for practice. Priya makes the class very welcoming/no judgement and I feel comfortable with messing up.

Just had my first lesson with Priya. It was exactly what I was looking for. I already can understand a bit of Tamil but I can't seem to speak or think in Tamil, and wanted a teacher who could help me work through that. Priya knew exactly what I was looking for... and suggested a way forward that was in line with what I was hoping for. So, am booking my second lesson tomorrow! Looking forward to learning and finally being able to converse in Tamil.

I would definitely say that Priya is a great teacher, she made me feel at ease very fast and had a very creative way of teaching as well as being sweet and patient with me ❤️which helped me feel more encouraged to what to learn more.

Completely recommend Priya for learning Tamil! She teaches in a really practical way. I’ve quickly learnt how to start forming sentences and we practice using topics that I can actually use in conversations. It’s very personalised. My accent has gotten better too.
