Hi there! My name is Sonia and I am a passionate lover of languages and different cultures. As a consequence, I have a Degree in Modern Languages, Culture and Communication and I specialised in English and Japanese.
As I developed more interest in teaching, I studied for a Master's Degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language and a Master's Degree in Teaching Compulsory Secondary Education, Upper Secondary Education, Vocational Training and Language Teaching (English as an Additional Language Teacher). Being my professional profile very bound to teaching, I love learning new things and teaching what I know.
I am currently studying for the state examinations for being a teacher in Spain.Показать перевод

As a teacher, I have experience teaching not only Spanish but English in Spain and England, in both formal and non-formal education. For 3 years, I have worked in a private school in Manchester as a teaching assistant, focusing on the preparation of my students for the GCSE and A-Levels examinations. Although my main experience might be teaching teenagers, I have also taught adults both languages. In addition, I am currently working as an online Spanish teacher for refugees who live in Spain.Мои уроки и стиль преподавания
My lessons are always personalised and adapted to the students' needs. In fact, I have full flexibility at the time of adjusting my accent to the student expectations. As I have taught from children to adults, I am used to designing materials and lessons according to their ages and expectations. Also, regardless of age, I always like having fun and entertaining lessons in which we can discuss culture and current topics with constant interaction.
I focus on communicative skills in my lessons, but I also value the importance of grammar and individual work.Мой учебный материал

Sonia is a great teacher. She is very methodical, friendly, patient and flexible. I've been learning with her for a couple of months, and I feel much more comfortable with speaking Spanish. I couldn't recommend her highly enough
