Hi everyone! I am Nay, originally from Jakarta, but currently living in Bali because who doesn’t love Bali? :)
I graduated from Universitas Indonesia and got a degree as a Bachelor of Humanity. I bet you love travelling, and so do I! I was once a tour guide in Komodo Island, Gili Trawangan, Bali, etc. That is how I learnt to practice my English skills and makes me excited to teach the Indonesian language.
Classes with me won’t be boring because I am not only gonna teach you the language but also some cultural facts & useful travel tips if you book the special class, you will gain rich knowledge about Indonesia from the local perspectives by the one who has travelled most part of Indonesia!Показать перевод

I have been interested in teaching since I was a student. I have given private lessons as well as lessons in groups. There is nothing more rewarding than sharing and helping people to reach their goals. Since I have a background as a tour guide and have travelled a lot, I will also share my experience and knowledge about Indonesian culture and my daily life in Bali a multi-cultural environment. My classes would be customizable and depend on the student's needs. So, do not hesitate to tell me about your goals, what matters to you, and what your interests are. Since this is a conversational course, I would support my students to speak a lot to practice during the sessions. New vocabulary would be introduced during the session. I will also try to combine the grammar, reading materials, and listening materials, by using different resources. The most important thing, we can talk about everything related to culture and my experience which are relatable to you. The knowledge you wouldn't get anywhere else.Мой учебный материал

Nay did a great job explaining in detail some important nuances with spoken Indonesian. I really like her approach in clarifying many aspects of the pronunciation. Highly recommended!

I have a very specific learning style and clearly defined goals, so it's often difficult to find a language teacher who is a good match. Nay was patient, engaged in useful passive correction, paused to explain key topics and was an incredible help in getting me started. She focused on the language I needed for my language goals, but supported these with additional context about more complex usage to preview these for later in our study together. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Nay was a great teacher. She taught me all the ins and outs of both Bali and Jakarta language and culture. Highly recommend if you’re looking for someone that knows the best and worst of the local culture of Indonesia.

Nay is incredibly diligent, with a great attention to detail in explaining the nuances between formal and colloquial Indonesian. And she knows how to pick engaging topics to discuss too!
