Javi

Classes with Javi are one of the highlights of my week! They are so much fun and rewarding. Not only we cover new vocabulary in our classes, but we also go through pronunciation which comes handy when self-learning a language. Amazing value, I have already booked 2 more hours next week :)

Javi consistently impresses me with his patience and attention to detail during each of our lessons. He understands my time constraints as a busy OB-GYN resident in the U.S. and tailors each lesson to my specific needs to better serve my Spanish-speaking patients. As someone with a strong background in the Spanish language and teaching Spanish as a foreign language, Javi is able to discuss interesting medical cases/concepts with me and work specifically on my medical vocabulary as well as improving my comfort in different Spanish tenses. Our lessons are often the highlights of my week, and I could not recommend Javi more highly as a Spanish instructor!

Javi does a great job of combining conversation practice in Spanish with lessons that help me to learn the various aspects of the language. We speak the entire hour in Spanish so it's like doing a mini immersion program but also providing help with the use of a whiteboard when I forget a word /phrase or don't use the correct one. Instant feedback!
