I'm 28 and currently live with my partner in the beautiful Alps of France. I'm a third-year Computer Science student at the Open University of Israel and work as a data analyst. Language learning is one of my biggest passions—I started with Spanish at 14 and now speak five languages (Hebrew, English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese) while studying three more (Norwegian, German, and Arabic).
Recently, I've been diving into the fields of entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, and personal economy, always looking to expand my knowledge and skills. Outside of my studies and work, I love reading, drawing, traveling, and enjoying a good football match, whether I'm playing or watching.Показать перевод

In our lessons, my top priority is to create a comfortable space where you can learn and grow. I encourage you to make mistakes—it’s a natural part of the process and a great way to improve! I love using a mix of activities, like music, reading, and friendly conversations, to make each class engaging and fun. I’m open to your suggestions and enjoy exploring any topics that spark your interest, keeping each lesson fresh and tailored to you.
Outside of class, I’m here to support you however I can. I believe that learning a language takes practice, the more you connect with Hebrew, the more confident you’ll feel, both inside and outside the classroom.Мои уроки и стиль преподавания
I tailor my lessons based on your level. For beginners, we’ll focus on essentials—grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation—using tools like short stories, vocab lists, images, and music. Whenever possible I like to add the historical or cultural context before diving into practice.
For intermediate and advanced learners, lessons are conversation-based, focused on topics you’d like to improve. We’ll start with small talk, then use materials like articles, videos, or songs to guide our discussion. Some lesson examples include debates, song analysis, or article discussions to deepen language and cultural understanding.Мой учебный материал

Bar was so easy to speak with - he made me feel comfortable despite the embarrassment of struggling to read or speak during our trial.

I’ve had several lessons with Bar across two accounts and cannot recommend him enough. He always comes prepared to the class with creative ideas for us to delve into deeper discussions, develop my vocabulary and is proactive in correcting my mistakes.
He is also a good laugh and has a great sense of humour. He creates an environment which is comfortable so that we can talk tangentially about things related to our discussions, make jokes, and is always open to feedback on scheduling/lesson approaches (no criticisms so far).
Wholly satisfied with my learning experience and intend to continue with lessons as long as I am able.

Bar is a phenomenal teacher. From our very first lesson, he quickly identified my strengths and areas for improvement, guiding me to texts that provided just the right challenge. He has the utmost patience, and his passion for his students’ growth is evident in every session. Bar is always one step ahead, bringing music videos and articles to delve into, and making the learning experience about much more than just language — he instills a broader understanding of the culture and people as well. I’m looking forward to continue these lessons!
