Mona is a fantastic teacher. I have now soon studied for one year and never been study arabic before and I have already learn to read and write a little bit. She makes the study very funny with all sorts of exercises. Today we studied a song and the verb to be.

After three sessions with Mona I am still highly impressed with her teaching style. She has honored my initial request by rarely using English. Even if I don't understand an Arabic word, she finds creative ways of describing it in Arabic so that I come to understand its meaning without having to revert to English. This method forces me to think and speak Arabic and is more profitable than simply talking about Arabic in my native language. By conversation during class and by listening to recordings for homework, I get to practice my comprehension skills and encounter new and practical vocabulary.

I worked with Mona for 2 months, 3x week to prepare for travel to Egypt. She was perfect. Very organized, experienced, excellent materials, flexible schedule and highly effective. And very patient! I tried other tutors, but she was the best for me. I highly recommend her!!
