I am a "software engineering" graduate level student. I have finished all the necessary courses and now I am currently working on my thesis. My first job was as an IT Officer at an academic institution. After working for two years gaining valuable experience on computer maintenance, office computer networking and troubleshooting, I have decided to start a small business (internet center) of my own. Being my own boss, I am engaged in maintaining computers and going around customer’s offices to build small office networks.Показать перевод

My teaching experience started after I decided to get back to school and get my master’s degree at HiLCoE. Having an excellent GPA in my courses, the college gave me an offer to a part time job as an assistant lecturer. I was lecturing computer network (LAB) at HiLCoE. Furthermore, I have got an evaluation result of 98 out of 100 from my students for the way I teach.
Since I have some skills of teaching, now I want to try to teach my native language Amharic on this platform.Мои уроки и стиль преподавания
My method of teaching would be through pictures. I would prepare a list of words and phrases for each class. Then practice those words with different scenarios using pictures. At the end of each class, there would be a revision time. The revision would be to practice the words and phrases that was used in that particular class in different situations. The revision exercises would be easy to understand and there would be an answer key at the end.Мой учебный материал

Amharic with Yohannes is a treat! the lessons are a vibrant mix of language and culture, perfect for beginners like me.
Just a small note: focusing more on pronunciation, especially the unique sounds of Amharic, would be helpful.
Despite this, and it hard for slow learner like me.
Yohannes's energy and supportive style make every session fantastic.
በታም እንኳን ደስ ይላል (It's very pleasant)! I highly recommend his classes to anyone keen on exploring Amharic.
