Hello! Bonjour! Hola! My name is Danielle. I am from Washington DC in the United States. While my native language is English, I studied French throughout my years in school and earned a Bachelors degree in French language and literature. My other degree is in Accounting and I worked as an auditor for six years prior to moving to Spain. I have lived in Spain since 2016 and can now speak Spanish with the locals. 2015 was the first year that I started teaching English online and I have been enjoying it ever since. I want to help you have fluid conversations in English. We can speak about countless topics so you can put your English skills into practice.Показать перевод

My main goal is for my students to be at ease. They should be comfortable with me as a teacher and, with time, become increasingly comfortable with the English language. The process should be pleasant and not stressful. I am patient and try to let my students finish their sentences on their own. It’s ok if you need to take a moment to organize your thoughts or search for a word. I love seeing students progress and learning about them in the process.Мои уроки и стиль преподавания
My lessons are based on the objectives of my student, however, all classes will include conversation. Also, they will all require practicing several language skills. For instance, we can watch a short video and then discuss it or read a short but amusing news article and the student can share their opinions. If a language certificate is the goal, I can incorporate reading, listening and writing preparation materials in our classes. I try to focus on why a certain answer is correct so the student improves their test-taking skills. I have mainly taught adults preparing for exams and children between the ages of ten and 18. Whatever my student’s mission though, I try to keep classes varied.Мой учебный материал
