My name is Mathilde. I am a native French speaker and I speak English fluently. I've been living in Cambodia for the past 10 years now. And I've been working for the past 4 years at Lycée Français René Descart in Phnom Penh where I support students from primary to high school. I've also been teaching French on another platform for the past year (students from 6 to 65yo).
I learned English on my own when I moved to Cambodia and I am currently learning Cambodian so I do understand very well the difficulty of learning a new language.

Working in Cambodia allows me to meet students from all cultures. Their families wish them to study French to then pursue higher education in France.
Some of these students have fallen behind in learning the French language due to their families who do not speak French and I, therefore, work with them to catch up.
I adapt to the needs of the student. Each person has their own way of learning, especially languages.Мои уроки и стиль преподавания
My method is based on writing, speaking, and reading but it can be modified if you only want to improve your pronunciation for example. My only goal is to help you progress while having fun.
I believe that the best way for someone to learn is by structuring lessons around their personal interests. Before working together, I will make sure I get to know you and your hobbies, along with your learning goals, to make a one-of-a-kind lesson plan. Learning should be fun and engaging, and I strive to bring enthusiasm into each and every lesson.
