Hello there! I am an American from Denver who loves to travel and learn about other cultures!
I have an undergrad degree in Economics and Business Analytics, and I have been teaching and tutoring language and business courses online to university students and business professionals for a few years now.
These days, I am living part-time in Colombia, fully immersed in the Spanish-speaking world, and doing what I love most (teaching!)Показать перевод

I have been tutoring since 2008, and teaching online since 2021.
Most recently, I was working with University students online and was based in the USA, but then decided to transition into work that could allow me to travel!
Having experience with travel, language and business education, along with everyday life in Colombia, I find myself uniquely situated to help bridge the gap between US and Latin American culture through thoughtful course creation.Мои уроки и стиль преподавания
Most of my teaching style and strategy is based on the advice of learning experts and polyglots:
1. Since interactive conversation is the key element to language acquisition, I do not rely on written material except as a form of review available to you after the lesson.
2. I try to keep it fun, since learning during play causes massively improved retention.
3. I look for ways to incorporate audial, visual, and kinesthetic elements into lesson plans so that in using all three modalities, your own best way of learning can guide your process, and the other modalities can further cement those mental pathways long-term!
