About Me
I was born in Toronto, Ontario, and my family roots are in Newfoundland & Labrador, a province on Canada’s east coast. After living in Toronto until the age of 7, my family returned to Newfoundland, where I grew up. Experiencing life in two distinct regions of Canada, each with its own dialects and cultural nuances, has given me a deep understanding of Canadian English and culture, which I bring into my teaching.
Interests
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, making charcuterie, listening to music, watching TV shows, and savouring a good cup of coffee or craft beer. I’m also passionate about traveling and exploring history.Показать перевод

My aim is to help you practice English as much as you need. I believe a great teacher listens carefully, so I’ll focus on understanding your strengths and areas for improvement. Unlike many native speakers who may overlook mistakes, I’ll gently correct errors to help you grow and refine your skills.

After completing my education, I worked in various roles in Canada, including construction, cleaning, and five years as a cook. In 2016, I began teaching English after getting married. Shane is a great teacher who is friendly and supportive. He provided excellent recommendations and examples on how to approach tasks on the exam. He offered valuable practice for speaking and writing, correcting my mistakes and sharing his own examples.
