Ben Tall TOEFL Freak

Thanks to my lessons with Ben, I was able to raise my Duolingo exam score significantly—from B1 (95) to B2 (115)—in just two months. I truly appreciate his dedication and the personalized approach he takes in each session. His support and guidance have been invaluable in helping me improve my English. I couldn’t have done it without him, and I’m so grateful for everything!

Ben helped me prepare for TOEFL a few years ago and I ended up with a 28 in speaking and 28 in writing after applying his tips and templates. I just recently prepared for Duolingo with him for a completely different requirement and got a 135 overall score too using similar exam prep strategies that were just as effective on the production and conversion subscores.

Ben is an amazing teacher and one of the best TOEFL experts. I took the home edition twice, in May and December 2020. For the second attempt, I studied the speaking and writing sections with him. He taught me the best strategies to improve those skills and it really worked. I took the second attempt in a very unusual environment; because of a lack of electricity in my neighborhood, I had to take the exam with a hot-spot connection and candles all over the room. Despite this atypical situation, I was able to get a high score, especially in the writing section where I got 29/30. I also increased my speaking score by 3 points with the strategies Ben taught me. His templates for both the reading and writing sections are completely different from those you usually find on Internet; they are complex (which is crucial to get top scores) but since he explains them in detail, it is quite easy to use them, even for an intermediate student like me. I would entirely recommend him!
