Manami

This was our one hundredth lesson. I really owe it to Ms. Minami for always being patient with me. I would certainly recommend her as a teacher who doesn't give up on her students and always gives her best.

Manami has consistently provided a quality learning experience. She seeks to understand your ability, and caters the lessons accordingly. She puts a focus on real-world situations through conversational lessons, and is happy to provide homework to reinforce learnings. I’d highly recommend trying Manami for your Japanese learning journey!

I've been studying under Sensei for the past two years, and I can say that my Japanese ability has improved by leaps and bounds. More specifically, you will get lots of speaking practice alongside reviewing material in class (reading and grammer practice) and a ton of writing practice outside of class as homework. Essentially her lessons cover all the bases you need (outside of Kanji studying which you may need to do in your own time) to become proficient in Japanese! I would definitely recommend Sensei to anyone that is genuinely looking to study Japanese and become proficient in the language!

Today's Lesson, We reviewed some writing homework I worked on, and Sensei gave me lots of very helpful feedback including correcting my sentences to properly express my opinion in the passage, and making the sentences seem more natural. Afterwards we did some conversation practice regarding introducing someone formally to someone else. Overall a very good lesson!

The listening section that Miss Manami provides at the end of each chapter is new and challenging but they open a new perspective to learning Japanese. It's a great experience every time.

Ms. Manami is knowledgeable about current events and brings them into conversation. Discussing and talking about them helps me utilize the Japanese I have learned and she corrects or provides Grammer and new vocabulary. It has been very helpful and provides a real and practical element to the classes.
